“Everything is created twice, first in the mind and then in reality.”
― Robin Sharma
Everything that you see, from your clothes, shoes, your phone, chair..pen…paper… light bulb…paint..curtains…window panes….carpet…tiles…that pavement, texture, design colour…where are these coming from?
Someone’s thoughts…someone once thought about those, the designers) and that’s why you are able to see them here. The engineers designed and made it and the traders (who envisioned a profit) made it available in the marketplace.
We may think otherwise, but the fact is that we create our reality.
The concept of future thinking or possibility thinking based on the above fact is the concept that demands our attention.
The concept or method has been used by all the great leaders in history in all cultures. Those visionaries see their ideals and held them dear to their hearts while taking steps to achieve them. And they did.
This is nothing new; in fact, so many have stumbled upon it by accident or by research and have written books and essays on it.
To an observant student of life, it becomes obvious and you also will eventually come to the realization of it.It will be for your benefit and well being.
Of all the concepts about reality, the “live by taking action, in the present moment, in accordance with what you have envisioned yourself for the future” is the only concept that has built great leaders, magnificent artefacts and great civilizations. It has built meaningful relationships between individuals, societies and nations alike.
All the beautiful and great cities, monuments and inventions were created by those who have a vision (first and foremost).
Everything we see or hear or smell or taste or touch was first a concept, an idea in someone’s mind. That idea got momentum and gained energy by like thoughts and then it was, by concentrative effort slowly but sure brought into physical reality.
All things are created twice. There’s a mental or first creation, and a physical or second creation of all things. You have to make sure that the blueprint, the first creation, is really what you want, that you’ve thought everything through. Then you put it into bricks and mortar. Each day you go to the construction shed and pull out the blueprint to get marching orders for the day. You begin with the end in mind.
Stephen R Covey
All things are created twice, first mentally as a thought or idea and then that thought is brought into reality through the available physical and non-physical resources.
What about you? You once thought that you will buy the clothes that you are wearing right now. Similarly, that pet, those books,…you thought, “I think I will go to that party” and there you went.
The same happens with our relationships. You once only thought that you will be with your partner. You see, almost all of the things that are yours right now, were once only in your thought. No one put a gun in your head for you to get these things…!
You literally created your life…intentionally or unintentionally and here you are blaming everyone else for your situation…!
A clear image of what you want, combined with an open heart (grateful heart), a feeling of having been accomplished the imagined reality brings your desire into reality, which is a manifestation.
There is power in clarity. You see mediocrity all around you because the majority of the people around you do not have clarity of what they want. They don’t even have the first part of creation right! Is it wonder then that most are average? The ones who made it big have a clear vision of what they want and most likely when they want it to happen.
“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.” – Albert Einstein
Good post. I certainly appreciate this website. Continue the good work!
Superb site you have here but I was wanting to know if you knew of any forums that cover the same topics talked about in this article? I’d really like to be a part of community where I can get opinions from other knowledgeable individuals that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Cheers!
Please let me know if you’re looking for a writer for your blog. You have some really great articles and I feel I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d really like to write some material for your blog in exchange for a link back to mine. Please blast me an email if interested. Many thanks!
Thanks for your posting. Another thing is that being photographer includes not only problem in catching award-winning photographs but in addition hardships in establishing the best dslr camera suited to your requirements and most especially challenges in maintaining the grade of your camera. This is very true and noticeable for those photography enthusiasts that are straight into capturing the particular nature’s engaging scenes – the mountains, the forests, the particular wild or maybe the seas. Visiting these adventurous places undoubtedly requires a dslr camera that can live up to the wild’s harsh environments.
